Webster’s dictionary defines legacy as, “anything handed down from the past, as from an ancestor or predecessor.” Legacy is not bound by age or time served. Legacy represents your body of work at each stage, foundational building blocks and the accumulation of wisdom to contribute to growth, innovation and opportunity. Legacy grows with each new experience, with each previously untested idea and bold ideal that you are courageous enough to deploy, and each time, you inspire others to see something through to fruition.
At Good Samaritan, we are laying a legacy of strong families. I am privileged to see families come to our center each day, inspired by their determination and love for their children. We know that strong families are fundamental to children growing healthy, happy and productive. Good Samaritan families gain confidence and are fully embraced with learning; empowered with the skills and knowledge to fully support their child’s successful development. Together we build the legacy of the Power to Grow.
What is your Legacy? I believe that we are all linked together in this web. And by realizing that, we can begin to do what’s right, for us and for others. And that, at the end of the day, is what true legacy is all about. As you ponder about legacy, consider becoming a donor or joining our legacy circle. To learn more, email us, arrange a tour of our center; come meet the children and families that inspire us each day.
